How To

Knit Backwards…..No Purling

CO 10 stitches, knit a row and purl a row….just to get your bearings.

Now, with the knit side facing you:

Insert the left needle into the back of the first stitch on the right needle. The yarn is behind the needles, held in the right hand.

Wrap the yarn over the left needle from the back to the front and pull through the stitch as usual and drop off the needle.

Continue to the end of the row…..then knit the row back. Now, instead of turning your work to purl…knit backwards again.

This is really only good to use when you're doing straight stockinette.

Neat?
