I have some crafty resolutions for 2012. I'm going to list them here so I can check how I've done later in the year.

  • Finally try two at a time socks. I've been saying this for a long time. Hubby bought me a book about them for Chrismtas, so now I really have no excuse!
  • Knit Abotanicity. It's been in my queue for ages, and I even have the yarn that I want to use - I just haven't got round to starting it yet.
  • Knit for charity. I have some yarn to knit some hats for LillyAn, so I will be starting with those.
  • Continue to knit from my stash. I'm not going to call it a stash diet as I'm going to let myself buy yarn if I want, but I'm going to try and knit from stash where I can.
  • Finish 2012 with less WIPs than I started with. As of 31/12/11, I have 9 WIPs in Ravelry, along with 2 long term projects..

  • Finally try two at a time socks. Completed - I didn't start these until earlier this month, but I have knitted a pair.
  • Knit Abotanicity. I started this earlier this month. Unfortunately I had a problem with the yarn I'd picked out for it (it kept breaking), so I'm using something different which I bought at the knitting show I went to earlier this year.
  • Knit for charity. I've completed a couple of projects, but they're all still sat here, as I haven't posted them yet.
  • Continue to knit from my stash. In all honesty, I don't really think I can count this as a success as I've bought more yarn than I knitted. Embarassed
  • Finish 2012 with less WIPs than I started with. I still have my two long term projects, but according to my Ravelry notebook, I have 6 other projects - at least one of which will be finished before New Year.
