Need a pattern for 2 color scarf

I was wondering if anyone has a pattern or a particular stitch that I can make a scarf out of without the opposite color showing up too predominately and looking very unattractive?

I need to combine pink and black somehow and what I've tried so far doesn't look very good at all.

Any help is appreciated.

I also have a knitting stitch book with a section of two color patterns. I will have to go next door to my craft room to look for it tomorrow. There are some interesting stitches in it, but I have not tried many yet.

The pattern that GA mentioned works out well on a scarf. I did one in lemon and green just before Christmas and I know the wearer has received a lot of compliments on her scarf and I have been asked to knit 2 more for others.
