I think it would be cool to have a charity knit-a-long!!!
I am open to all sorts of ideas for charities... but I am also wondering if enough people are interested; hence the pole.
knit along!

There's a charity knitting section... You might want to look there... Or, we can throw out some ideas.
I'd rather start on this after the holidays... _________________

I actually made a pattern that is VERY easy to knit and knittingwisdom.com picked it up. I think it would be great to knit some more and send them to children that need comfort for something bad that's happening around them. Maybe domestic violence shelters or hurricane victims, etc. I made mine for my son and he still carries it around 2 years later! It's about time for me to break down and make a replacement. It's also good for using those stuffed animals or polyfil you have lying around. I tore open a stuffed animal that Andrew didn't like and used its stuffing to stuff the bear that he loves so much

It's all garter stitch, super easy, minimal sewing. Hope you all like it _________________ May all your projects be frog-less, and your patterns error-free! |

I'd be interested, but like Grannie, I wouldn't want to start until after Christmas. _________________

Same goes for me since someone just hit me over the head yesterday by reminding me that I now have less than 2 months and I have barely started my christmas knitting
I would love to do a charity project though. _________________ May all your projects be frog-less, and your patterns error-free! |

There is a charity called the Mother Bear Project and they just do bears for orphans in South Africa...
Y'all are right: I should have put this in the charity knitting section... oh well. |
