Beautiful job, GA. I know you don't want to have to wear it, but you will be lovely when you do. Very Happy

Oh Grannie,
Your bucket insulator is beautiful Laughing

Seriously though the pattern definition and choice of colour and yarn works beautifully with your wimpole.
Congratulations Smile

I printed out a wimple pattern and made adjustments to it. The first wimple I made was for my BF when he hunts waterfoul in the boat. I used a heather grey in Caron yarn. The second I used 100% fine alpaca in an almond, chestnut brown and black varigate. The second wimple turned out just wonderful.

My BF wanted the wimple to tuck under the shoulders of his jacket, so I increased the stitches more so that it would rest comfortably on his shoulders. He just loves them! I can't wait until I can knit one up in the color of corn stalks in the fall.

Steady knitting (for me as I haven't been knitting that aweful long), I was able to knit one up in a weekend. Very Happy
