hi i want to knit a cowl for my tops that have deeper necklines
i am hoping to make it so i can pin it to the neckline
because i hate the back of the my neck
vanity of women
i have what is know as a dowagers hump
ugly
i want to make out of light thin yarn
does anyone have any suggestions
i want to knit it in the round just plain knitting
help please

Sylvia, in simply knitting or Lets knit the last issue there was a gorgeous cabled cowl? if that's what you mean, like a polo necked collar that fastens at the side?

what i need wil go on light material tops
silky yarn wo that it wont be heavy in the spring and summer
i myself dont know what pattern
but it will have to be very flimsy and light

Sylvia if you look in the Knit-a long section some of us are going to do a cowl (or smoke ring) soon. Why not join us. Here's a link.

Also the Wavy feathers wimple, -another cowl. This pattern is quite easy and done in either lace-weight or 4 ply/fingering.
