| OK, I have a multi stripe scarf knitted, it has mostly purple and red angora with a lurex thread but in the middle I have , it's not too pretty now, green and yellow angora. I'm think I could crocheted stripes the long way, over and under the green and yellow stripes in both the red and purple to make the look of a weave. Has anyone ever tried anything like this, will it work or will I make a mess of it? I just started knitting it got carried away n now I want to make it look like it was intentional . . . . I've pulled off stuff like this before but these colors are making me think twice about it. Any ideas? |

Yes perfect, that's what I am looking for. Pretty piece, thanks a bunch Grannie A. I'd never seen it done but I thought it would be a good way to tie the sections together visually. That is exactly the look I am going for, a perfect plaid .
ETA; Hummm, on second thought what will I do with the tails when I get to the end? I suppose I could knot them off n weave the tails into the like color but that limits the plaid colors, gotta think. |
