I have 2 kiddies in bed, bub is sitting in her vibrating bouncer chair and is definitely NOT sleepy yet Going to have to organise some sleeping bags for her, she has just started kicking all her blankets off in the night and waking up cold. Once she goes down Im going to try finish the monkeys face & tail |

Happy Monday. It's my day off so I will be cleaning and ironing for most of the day. It is a bit dull so not a great day for drying _________________ Liz |

finished a stash buster! have completed reversible a-line dress for Eb and have put flowers on front and back so she can have flowers whichever way it is worn! One side is black and the other multicoloured. I have pics, but not uploaded yet. Finished the pippy matinee jacket for KN's baby girl, also the bonnet, have bootees to go. Have a hoodie to do for Zac before his 7th birthday on 21st this month and boxers for DD1's eldest who is turning 10. Have KN's son's present already so that's a bonus, then a card for DH's DD2 and a present and drinks for his DD3 on or around 22nd. I think that's all the birthdays for this month _________________ [url=http://www.TickerFactory.com/]

I feel terribly slack for not popping in more often
Keeping the children occupied while dealing with intense heat and humidity, yuk, plus I've got just 4 weeks before we visit England for 15 days and I have I-Knit to prepare for.
I'm also not looking forward to the funny looks I'll get from strangers, though, when I'm out and about with the kids in the UK. Last time, a cashier at Sainsbury's actually asked 'Why isn't she in school?' refering to my daughter. I didn't think twice at the time but then got really annoyed with the impoliteness afterward.
The schools out here don't open until the 20th September because of the heat.
Kath, keep us updated, please won't you? _________________ www.knitbox.blogspot.com |

Still recovering from my trip to Knit Nation! It was amazing!!! And I met Joy on Thursday!
My classes were fabulous! Sock design with Cookie A and Lace knitting with Anne Hanson... and shopping and meeting people... what more can a knitter want???
A proper report later... |

Ooooooh, the second KH meet-up in the UK! (Am I right?)
I was almost there myself - I'm sure I would have spent the fortune I don't have _________________ www.knitbox.blogspot.com |
