I have extra yarn from finishing a pair of fingerless mitts for a friend, I think I will make a pair for myself.

I'm past the halfway point of the Heelhead scarf. I'm so excited! It's going to be fun to wear. Now, I will have to buy a jacket to go with it. Wink

I've done the back and about two thirds of the left front. It's a nice knit so far. People on Ravelry have commented about the acres of ribbing though. Confused

Hils, try not to do too much until you've recovered fully.

Well I've finished it but I'm not at all happy with it.

It doesn't hang right. I think there are too many stitches picked up round the front and collar and the armholes as the edges are wavy. One side hangs down below the other unless you fiddle about to get it to sit just right, and it sticks out at the bottom.

I've got it lying flat under a damp cloth at the moment in the hopes that it improves.

Whatever it's like I'll post pics when it's dry.

I really need to get with it, I know. Scrapped the first idea and am now working on a sleeveless sweater, some may call it a vest, whatever it is.
