No 13 needles can't possibly be a British size, can it? Need to find large size 13's. _________________ Yvonne

US13 needles are 9mm.
If you go to the yarn section on Ravelry, you can filter by suggested needle size. These are the results that I came up with if it helps as a starting point. _________________

No, it's not British... I sent a real 1940's era (I think) American knitting pattern book... _________________

Thanks for the needle info ! I have some lovely 9mm needles that I got from Figgy so this really will be a global garment combining UK, USA and Turkey |

Kath has the body to wear those sweaters.. They'll look great on her... I haven't had a body like that since 1978... _________________

Just one sleeve to sew and I have finished
It is so gorgeous G.A and the shaping so feminine .
Just about to cast on another garment from the same Vintage 1940's booklet.
This time a sleeveless pullover, will scan pics for you in the next couple of days. |
