Welcome Maywalk,I love anything to do with 1940's so we should get along really well as my passion is vintage knitting and wearing what I make at a town in North Yorkshire called Pickering where they turn the clock back to 1943 for the whole weekend. Very Happy

Hi Katknit.

Nice to meet you too and it sounds as though you really enjoy the re-enacting of the 1940s.

My website might interest you because that is everything to do with WW2 and the 40s.

Hi Knittingmama and aharbor.
Many thanks for the welcome.

Lots of tales to tell of years gone past, plus many poems. Smile

God Bless.

Welcome, Maywalk!

I, too, look forward to getting to know you!

Very Happy

ps: Yes, men and children both have this uncanny way of wanting an answer,
assistance or something when one is either counting or talking on the phone. Laughing
