Its a long, long time since I knitted in 2 ply, but I just couldn't resist buying this gorgeous yarn from Posh Yarn, the picture doesn't do it justice, the yarn is so soft, 80% ultra fine merino & 20% silk, I just can't wait to get started
I'm planning on casting on the Upstairs Shawl this weekend, http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/upstairs just as soon as I've finished the boring back of a cardigan I'm knitting |

That is a treat for the eyes. I am sure it feels sumptous. You should enjoy the knitting and the wearing. _________________ Have a mice day. |

Lovely yarn and pattern.
I just can't be bothered to go through the Posh Yarn buying process. Good for you for persevering. _________________ Yvonne

Beautiful yarn and pattern but I have to agree with Yvonne about their system- have just treated myself to a skein of Handmaiden though! _________________ knitting is a perfect way of stopping me working! |

Funnily enough, I was out on Sunday evening and got home at around 11:00. I thought I'd have a quick look as I did like the yarn, and wasn't I lucky Most of the other yarns had gone, but there was still 2 skeins of mine left and I only wanted 1.
I'm not sure if I would have sat waiting for 8:00pm if I'd been in, a bit of a waste of a Sunday evening really |

I did intend casting on this weekend, but having to frog the blue cardigan and finishing the gloves I've been knitting for my husband (he never looks at what I'm knitting) I just didn't get round to it. But will hopefully make a start this week |
