Surely they aren't point protectors--they don't seem to want to stay on very well.
I've been using my "blue rubber nubs" that I got at Wally-World on them to protect the points and keep my work from sliding off when I'm not knitting. That won't hurt the needle tips, will it???
I so love these needles!!!! _________________ O Lord, show me thy ways. |

Those purple disks are to convert your cable from a needle cable to a stitch holder.. or to make your cable a 'straight' needle.. with a point on one end, and a disk on the other.. _________________

If it makes you feel better, it took me a few tries to figure them out, too. I have found that they are great if you want to work on more than one project with the same size needles. They let you change the tips from project to project without much trouble at all. _________________ Have a mice day. |

That is very a handy thing to be able to do. _________________ O Lord, show me thy ways. |

I've used my disks.. along neck edges and such.. when the pattern says to put the stitches on a stitch holder.. I just take the points off, and put the disks on.. I think they're great..
What I need to order are more cables.. _________________

That is an excellent idea! I hate having to slide stitches back onto the needle from a stitch holder! _________________ O Lord, show me thy ways. |
