Ack, our knit a long seems to be dying off a bit. I just wanted to let everyone know that today is THE DAY! All I have left on my FCS is the lst 2 bind off rows and I'll be DONE! I have already ordered my lace blocking wires fromknitpicks and they are on their way. I'm hoping they are here Monday so I can start blocking but it's more likely to be Tuesday or Wednesday unfortunately.

I can't wait until this is finally done and I can wear it nd show off all my hard work. I also ordered stuff from knitpicks to make an Hourglass sweater (Thanks mom for asking me to knit you the PERFECT pattern) for myself now. I ordered 13 balls of Andian Silk in Cornflower. I can't wait until it arrives so I can pet it, lol. Also in the box will be a LOOOOOOONG circ in size 1 for magic loop socks, and 2 balls of Ambrosia in a lilac type color (couldn't pass up alpaca and cashmere).

Is anyone still knitting FCS's or is it that the creator of the KAL is the last one to finish, lmao. That's just SAD! Laughing

I still haven't started! I have some gorgeous yarn for it, and will make a start on it after Christmas.

I also have some yarn for another one and want to make it for a Christmas gift. I'm going to use the recommended yarn weight and needle size though so the next one will go fast since I'll only have to do an extra 1-2 pattern repeats past the 195 stitches instead of this one...I ended up with 337 stitches on this one!!! On size 4 us needles, lmao. Too many stitches and too much time for me to keep going and going without the stopping that I had to do on it. Sad

lmao. I have a huge entertainment center that I don't use because my tv is on a small stand but my dad refuses to come get the center because it's easier to leave it here in my tiny little livingroom that it doesn't fit in...so I've taken to stuffing all my yarn and 1/2 finished projects into the large area that the TV would go in....

I finally organized it today. Took all the 1/2 done projects and put them in one big clear plastic container and put the yarn for the projects that I was to start shortly in another and put them inside the tv part. Now it doesn't look at ALL cluttered like it did before with projects hanging off it and all over it. It looks very nice and everyone keeps asking me what I did to get my house so clean, lmao. Apparently it was more of an eyesore than I even realized!

I'm loving it and now I know that it will help me to get some more things finished because I'll need more room in the box for projects I'm working on and more room in the box for yarn because I have a million projects that I want to start and have yarn for.

I also have more yarn coming soon from knitpicks as I said before and that's enough to finish off the "ready to start" yarn box so...I'm gonna have to put myself on a yarn diet till I get that sweater done and the cashmere/alpaca socks done. Those socks will be for me because cold Ohio weather STINKS and I want something to keep my lil diabetic feet WARM, lmao!
