I got my blocking wires in the mail today and, after seeing that no matter what method you use, blocking ALWAYS is a pain in the butt, I have it blocking on my bed upstairs! I'm SO excited and plan to wear it SOON!

I will make sure that I get some pics up tomorrow and let everyone see how it came out. Maybe I'll take the pics outside since it's fall and seems very "forest Canopy-ish" to me Smile

It's up there on the bed and I can't tell if it's just cold or if it's still damp, lmao. I'm going to let it sit a little longer and then take my hairdryer to it for a few seconds before I pull the blocking wires out. I can't WAIT!

I don't know how it happened but there was a spot in the shawl that looked like it had a dropped stitch even though my stitch count was dead on....so I think I knitted the wrong thing somewhere in that one part and it pulled out. I managed to pick up the stitches with a crochet hook and used a piece of scrap yarn to tie the live stitch to another part of the shawl and you can't even tell and now it's as mistake free as you can get when you find a dropped stitch in the middle of a knit piece, lmao.

lol Holly! I'm going to be taking pics here in a few minutes. I'm pretty sure that it's just cold and not still damp cause it's been sitting there over 24 hours and it can't possibly still be wet, lmao. I'll have the pics up asap!
