This thread makes me hungry Very Happy and I want to go out and buy a bread making machine. My problem is I am trying to lose weight and every diet/healthy eating plan says cut down on bread. It is just not fair Very Happy

If it makes you feel any better, since I've started baking my own bread at home we've been eating more wholegrain and other healthy types of bread than ever before. I only ever make white bread a few times a month - not even that.

absolutely! also, if one is eating wholesome homemade bread, perhaps they're not eating something like candy or another treat that would not be as good for them. If my guys have good breads, they eat fewer sugary snacks..fewer potato chips etc. I'd rather have them snacking on my applesauce raisin bran bread than potato chips or candy Smile
