I am both a full time student at Marshall University and work full time. Going to both work and school was killing my budget because of the extra gas needed to get to school. So I started taking the bus to school and only drove to work. I have already saved a ton of money!
During Sept. Marshall students ride for free with a school ID. After that I plan to buy a pass. The local bus company has a $35.00 pass for 31 days of unlimited riding. That will probably save me about $20.00 to $30.00 per month!

That is great. Do you also take knitting on the bus to get in extra time, or is your commute long enough? _________________ Have a mice day. |

It's only about a 30 minute ride, so not much knitting time, but I try to get a few rows in. The only problem I have so far is that I am in a different county than the closest bus stop, so I have to walk close to a mile just to get to it. I almost missed it yesterday and had to run carrying a 15 pound backpack. Now, my right leg is killing me and my shoulders are sore. I have been planning to get a bike I have at my parents and riding it to the bus stop
