| Seed starting can be very inexpensive if you go in on some seed starting mix and seed packets with friends. One bag of mix will start a lot of seeds and seed packets are still a great deal. Just think, you get about 50 potential plants for a few bucks. We did this in our town and had a great turnout. You can use small (6 oz) yogurt containers to start you seeds in to save on pots (just be sure to poke or drill a hole in the bottom for drainage). |

That's a great idea to get lots of people growing some of their own food.
We currently have a flat of borage, cilantro and sage stratifying in the oven.  _________________ Help find a cure for ALS! |

DOH! Although i am green fingered, my garden thrives, but I think all my seeds go down to Australia when i sow them!
