Peanut Butter and Chocolate Cheese Ball
8-ounce package cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup butter, softened
1/4 cup creamy peanut butter
3/4 cup powdered sugar
2 tablespoons light brown sugar
3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa
1/2 cup each chocolate and peanut butter chips
1 tablespoon chocolate liqueur (optional)
2/3 cup chopped toasted pecans
Graham crackers.
Beat cream cheese, butter and peanut butter at medium speed of an electric mixer until creamy. Stir in sugars, cocoa, chips and, if desired, liqueur. Cover and chill 2 hours or until firm. Shape chilled mixture into a ball and roll in raw or toasted nuts. Serve with Graham crackers.
I used raw chopped walnuts and 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips because I couldn’t find peanut butter chips. I also think you could substitute Splenda for the sugars or cut the sugars in half with Splenda. I’m going to try that next time. _________________ Have a mice day. |
