It's too scrunched up to see the pattern but you gat an idea of the colour.
I've done another three pattern repeats since I took the pic.

Blocking will work wonders for it because it's looks good when I stretch it out. Clickable pic.

Sooooooo pretty!! Maybe I'm moving from loving "Jade" to loving purples!! Smile

And your pic is helping - I couldn't seem to get my head wrapped around where I was "beginning" and which direction I was going. Right now, I'm thinking maybe I should try doing a rectangle first! Laughing

Maybe I could handle this one:

I think I'm the MOST indecisive one here!! Embarassed

Bonnie : it's a very pretty pattern and I'm sure you could manage it. Just jump in, cast on and remember we're here to help if you do have a problem.

Lovely colors, Yvonne. Very Happy

Bonnie, I am just amazed that I am capable of knitting something so incredibly gorgeous. I just have to follow the instructions, putting the yarn-overs, ssk's and k2togs in the right places and, voila! It's just so cool!

Both soooo pretty. Granny A, yours brings to mind a muted peacock. I love these.

Well, would you all mind coming over and telling DH to PUH-LEEZE just SHUT UP when I'm trying to learn a new pattern??? Laughing

I swear I ripped it out at least three times this afternoon, because he kept chattering away about nothing. Crying or Very sad

I thought if I could get through the 8 row repeat once I'd be O.K., but I never made it that far...I think I'm back on row 2 .....again. I'm using the pale blue WW Plymouth Encore I bought at Kaleidoscope a couple of weeks ago. Not what the pattern calls for but it's sooo soft and pretty. I think I'll be fine if I can just get it started O.K....Maybe in the morning before he gets up. Smile I'll keep you posted.

Bonnie, I have the same problem. When DH is writing computer programmes, he's quiet and I can knit anything but at the moment he's sorting out and 'enhancing' all his photos and he keeps saying "look at this" and "see what I've done with this" until I could scream.

Sometimes I go and sit in the other room if I really want to concentrate. Have you anywhere else you could go?

Exactly! Reading me stuff from blogs he's looking at, that I REALLY have absolutely NO interest in at all. "Listen to this!" Especially when I'm trying to count repeats!

Nope, I'm not moving anywhere else - I have my knitting "spot" and all my "stuff" is right there - Smile Usually he sleeps a lot later than I do, but today of course, he got up early when I was *planning* on some peace and quiet to work on that pattern. Evil or Very Mad

Ahhhh, the joys of retirement, when they're constantly underfoot. Smile
