I cast on the cabled yoke cardigan a while ago but that won't be finished anytime soon. I may also do a sweater for Theo, ready for winter. I have yarn in my stash for one. _________________ Yvonne

I have a couple of projects in mind, and may end up making both of them.
First up is a cabled bag which I'm planning in a similar colour to the pattern. I'm thinking that this will be good as travelling knitting.
Second is Martha for which I have some yarn in a gorgeous aubergine colour. _________________

I love the bag Kathryn, I am very tempted to do that for myself. Not that I need any more bags _________________ Liz |

Neither do I, Liz. But I'll always manage to find a use for it! _________________

Love that bag!
I haven't given a lot of thought to what I'll do either. Maybe cabled socks. Maybe I'll look for cabled bag patterns. |

I will join you, GA! I'm trying to get through:
a second fair isle sweater (this time in pastel colors against a black background - looking good!!),
a baby surprise jacket (for my upcoming niece/nephew),
a pair of socks (pair #1 from the LOTS club),
afghan squares for the warm up america charity project,
a pair of socks for DD,
a bear(it's about 3/4 done) for the mother bear project.
I'm sure I have another project or two around here, but it must've been awhile since I worked on them as I can't remember what they could be. I also have projects-in-waiting that I don't dare cast on yet! _________________ Vive le tricotage!!

I've got the double knit afghan to finish.. and a couple of baby sweaters... There are some scarves that I've been diddling on here and there...
But.. life gets in the way.. and I have the last commission quilt that I MUST get out and continue to work on... So.. We'll see what knitting WIPs can get done in conjuction... _________________

I am planning on finishing Jim's Aran that I started in January. I think my elbow will allow some knitting a week or so. _________________ Help find a cure for ALS! |

Wow, I can join two KAL's at the same time. The May Cable KAL and the "'Let's see what we can get finished before the end of May' KAL... " with GA and jackieknits.
I started the same sweater that KM is knitting for Jim (was it really in January? ) and I have a whopping 3" complete on the ribbing. What a hoot.
Other projects in the works:
Grey wool lace shawl - I probably started this 4 or 5 years ago
Hat - pattern from Peru (I can't remember what they are called)-this one is over a year old, and I have 1 1/2 ear flaps complete. Okay, this one really deserves the
Julie's Grandmothers Laprobe and pillow (crochet project)
Tom Bombadill socks
chemo caps (3 for Gilda's Club)
Fingerless Mitts (a Parlor KAL)
Fisherman's sweater
Art Prize Mittens and Hat
Autumn Gold Shawl. ( the March KAL)
Do you think I suffer from startitous just a little bit. Discipline is not my middle name. |
