Oohhh nice. That's been in my queue for ages. I downloaded it straight away too, but I think you can still get the pattern on Ravelry. What yarn are you using? And what colour?

Be sure and post pics when you're done.

Oh I will (especially now that I received a new camera). I'm using the undyed Blue Faced Leicester which I'd not used before. I've completed about 8 inches and it is wonderful to work with.

How's everybody getting on?

I've changed my mind (again! Laughing), and I've started a scarf. I had so much fun looking through my stitch dictionaries for the Travelling Scarves that I decided to look through and find a cable one that would work with some red and black yarn I've had for a while.

Sounds as if there will soon be another number on your stash used counter. Very Happy

Well, I finished knitting the Baby Surprise Sweater/Jacket and have sewn about 1/2 of one seam. Maybe I can finish the other tonite. Will be sure to take pics - maybe(?) this weekend.

I'm up to working the section above the underarm on my 2nd Fair Isle Sweater. Has anyone steeked with acrylic? I'm gonna give it a try!

I haven't touched the Mother Bear bear yet this month.

I also added the LOTS sock to my May list. That one, however, uses cables, so I guess I'm participating in two parts, huh? Will I finish the sock? I hope so as it's mate has been done for almost a year now! Lobug, if you're watching - I'm still trying to finish Hobbiton (which I love!!). I managed to knit 4 rounds on it today! Was hoping to get more done while waiting in doc's waiting room, but he was running very much on time!! DARN! Laughing

Doing the sleeves on Theo's cabled sweater but it has been on hold for a few days while I worked on my V-neck top. (the one that was going to be a waistcoat).

It seems ages since I actually finished anything.

I am up to the front neckline on Jim's Aran, but I made a mistake and I just haven't had enough time to rip it all back and get going again. I am gauging for the tank top that I put on the list for the June KAL, but I'm having a hard time getting it to work with the yarn I want to use. It also has a cable, so it would count for either, I think. Wink

Sounds as if there are some lovely items taking shape out there.
Jackie, WHAT can I say...you have been prodigious. Shocked
Yvonne, sounds like your items are getting really close to finished. I think you will suprise yourself. Smile
KM, I know you have had a lot of things going on and happening this month. I am sure you will get the time somewhere to finish Jim's Aran before the really cold weather sets in. Wink I hope you are able to get gauge on the top for you; you deserve the chance to wear something pretty you have produced. Laughing

I know there are still a couple of weeks left in May. I have not gotten to something cabled yet, and am casting on something else. However, I saw a very nice cabled headband I could make as a gift [NotwantingtoexciteKatknitbysayingtheChword] for my #1 granddaughter...hmmmm Rolling Eyes

Finishing sewing the Baby Surprise seams today and wove in all ends. I did a lot of knitting on it a couple of weeks ago while waiting for DS to come home from his date - especially since he was LATE!!!

Finished the knitting of the Hobbiton socks yesterday. I grafted the toe and wove in all ends today.

Two WIPs done - YAY!!!!! Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

The Fair Isle Sweater will now wait as I've decided to do the June project. Found the perfect pattern for some yarn I had in my stash.

I finished my scarf yesterday, and will endeavour to take some pictures later. I'm a little behind on pics, as I still haven't taken any of the hat I knitted a couple of weeks ago.

Sadly this isn't quite as long as I would have liked, but I do like the way that the pattern turned out.

The yarn was dyed by a group of people raising money to support the Victory Junction afghan project on Ravelry. We're part of a NASCAR group, so the colours were inspired by the drivers' cars - this is 14.
