Have finished my friend's beret and one fluffy scarf for Mum. Another on the needles. I'm going to keep knitting until all this fluffy stuff is gone. _________________ Yvonne

I'm sure you will - your chullos are always amazing. Did you order the mitten kit they had a while ago?
I'm curious as to how you block them. I'm trying to think of a way to block mine as it will need a little TLC to even out some of my stitches. _________________

The mitten kit sold out really quickly and I missed out. They said they will bring them back, but not until later in the year. _________________ Help find a cure for ALS! |

I don't like it. I'm not a fan of novelty yarns at all. I'm tired of it taking up space that could be filled with something nice.
The best use for it, is for trims and fluffy bits on toys. _________________ Yvonne

Done it.
The only fluffy stuff I have left is part balls of black, white, a grey/black/white mix and some blue/green mix.
I'll hang on to these as they may come in for trimming something sometime.
And Mum has three scarves and a wrap that I did to use up all the bits. It's mainly pink, blue and purple with a bit of the grey mix in. Doesn't look too bad. I'll do pics sometime but I'm a bit busy this week.
This has been a great KAL. _________________ Yvonne

Finished just in time so i have a few days to plan next month's project.
The first pair of hand knit gloves I actually completed. The first one, on the right hand, turned out really well, so I was encouraged to start on the second one. Although I tried to replicate exactly the same techniques, things were not working quite as smoothly. But anyway, they are finished, and overall I am pleased with the result:

Those really are terrific gloves! That said, I hope you don't get to wear them until at least November... _________________ Have a mice day. |

The knitting on the body of my hat is finished - just the applied I-cord to go.
Does anybody have any hints for making tassels? I've not tried before, so any suggestions would be gratefully appreciated. _________________
